ethoughts weekly- Issue 167 June 28, 2007
Greetings everyone!
I've gotten off stride on my ethoughts as of late, so I wanted to give you a little midweek pick-me-up, by way of a little joke my brother told me on his recent visit. This coming Saturday or Sunday, I hope to be back on track. Summer has a way of changing timing. I have three more graduate classes in my summer course, and the take home final, which is due a week later. So things are actually heating up for me, just like the summer weather. I thank you for your prayers, and well-wishes, as I always greatly appreciate them.
Now on to the Joke, may you enjoy it -
Upon seeing an enemy ship the first mate yells, "Captain! Enemy ship ahead, Sir!" To which the Captain replies, "All hands on deck and get me my red coat!" The first mate answers, "Right away, Sir. But, may I ask, why the red one, Sir?" "Well, first mate, if I am shot I do not want my men to see me bleeding, and become frightened." Seconds later a shout is heard, "Captain, we are completely surrounded by enemy ships!" And to this the Captain replies, "First mate, fetch me my brown pants!"
--
For all of you who keep your cool, inspire others, and may need to wear brown pants this week, God bless you. Keep up the fight, even if you're surrounded!
